La Boa Brava is a mixed metal artisan jewelry brand by self taught designer Hannah Staiger based in Amherst, MA. Each piece is handcrafted out of sterling silver and brass with the occasional gemstone, using traditional metalsmithing tools.

LBB came to be on the small island of Culebra off the coast of Puerto Rico in 2011, at a little cart by the side of the bridge. I was introduced to metalsmithing 18 years ago when I first met Glenda Cade on island. She had years of experience and was a meaningful mentor in my journey.

At the end of 2017 after two life changing hurricanes, we made the move north to where I grew up, in the Pioneer Valley.

Over the years I have experimented with different techniques and have landed on a style, using the places I have lived as inspiration. Bohemian, art deco, Caribbean and Southwest influences. Made for everyday wear. For mothers, artists, explorers, creators, nature lovers, and other beautifully evolving humans.
